In 1996 I Came Across A Copy Of J. B. Rietsap's Armorial General Book. Inside On Page P1.XXVI Is A Coat Of Arms For The Peetz Name And The Book Lists Esthonie As The Name's Place Of Origin.
     Several Places Like Ancestry.Com Say That It Is Possibly A Habitational Name From Peetz In Brandenberg, Germany Or Peetzig In Pomerania. There Is No Peetzig In The Armorial General So I Am Proceeding Under The Assumption That The Peetz Name Originated Somewhere In The Baltic Region Of Northeast Germany, Pomerania - Now Poland Or Esthonie - Now Estonia.
